This was meant as a commission for MetalSoldierc02 [link] , but then I was thinking to give it away for free, for some reasons we had. So, then is not for this contest [link] ...
About the creature; I didn't wanted to do anything that looked as if it couldn't walk as most 100 headed dragons. The main head is probably the one below the other ones, the one with the short neck, but the one with the longest set of horns in the middle is also more important than than most heads. The other ones are something between a snake and a sauropod, many of the heads are not seen on screen, some are on the other side and some are just lost inside the other necks, but I think it is not even necesary for it to have exactly 100, for easthetic reasons I decided to make it looking as if it had less, after all, centipedes do not have a hundred legs. To aid balance and efficiency I moved some heads to watch all over the body, by the way, the heads spit not fire but molten metal that has mass and therefore not only burn but also hits reaally hard. The wings are also used while walking, I've noted that dragons, being huge creatures usually don't do this, for reasons I cannot understand, since having an adittional set of limbs would be very useful to sustain an animal this size. I made a really heavy tail to conuterbalance the heads. Thats all. |
