The Ophidian Sloth (sadly we are not talking about a snake-sloth hybrid which would be by all accounts awesome) is a corrupted lord by the sin of sloth. It's earned it's unparalleled might by means of... ugh.. not doing ahything at all for several years. He buries himself underground in a meditation rite and just before he starts starving to death a mystical root starts to grow on it's skin and into it's flesh creating a symbiosis that feeds him out of his weakened state. After regaining the nutrients necessary for subsistance the plant continues to feed the host beyond its original condition and imbues the champion's muscles with unholy strength with which to break free from his burial and smash the weak foes of the Ophidian in the surface.
Or something like that.
Hey I had to turn lazy-assness into a super-power, throw me a bone here!

wow i did not know ragnarok waas still going on. i always loved the illustration and the minis for this weird ass setting.
Was quite awfull when it went down.
So its still going? Awsome.

And the Ophidians are still a thing? i thought they were more a minor footnote with like 2 models.

hehehehe i just figured that alot of their art was your doing.
Great stuff absoluteley loving it.

Sadly nobody around here plays that game.
Then again. if id play it i would have a way too hard time deciding wether or not to play Drune or Ophidan. or can you mix armies? you probably cant. because that would be too great...

Both of those do kinda give me the frazetta vibe + weirdness.
