Humans> Pirates> Beast Masters. Interestingly there is no planned grownd combat for the game in the near future... But creating inmersion for the game universe and lore is my favourite thing!

I totally agree. I used to spend a lot of time creating immersive worlds for the players in my tabletop games. I still run the games, but I have a lot less time to build cultures and ecosystems now. Can't wait for my kids to be old enough to help out, then we will create some truly fantastic places to explore!
I'll admit, I'm rather surprised to see this sci-fi psuedo-fantasy style being applied Novus AEterno. Not to say I don't like it, it's just unexpected.
Its a post apocalyptic setting on a galactic scale, thousands of worlds have been left to their own luck for hundreds of years and over generation many of their inhabitants had a backlash on industrial development and reversed into more medieval-like "do you it yourself" kind of cultures. Despite this the game is strictly sci-fi, as there is no magic involved and I try to think everything with the hardest science possible. Words like "demons" and "beasts" just reflect the widespread ignorance of most of the abandoned factions across the universe.
This is good stuff boy-o. I really love the way it mixes so many different themes from sci-fi to high fantasy to a little bit of grim-dark. Many thanks for sharing.
