I agree, pictures always seem to look better in Ps. What format are you uploading in? Jpeg or png?
Jpeg tends to ruin colors and png preserves colors better and takes up the same/less space

I actually think this painting focuses too much on the details. I don't really get a sense of his body below his chest or of his left arm, because they're just a heap of components and details. Focus more on rendering the forms simply and clearly, and then add details to that base.
Cool design, though.
